Who I am ?

I'm Benjamin Simier,
Versatile and passionate, I am UI / UX designer and front-end developer.

From an early age, I was very attracted to drawing, color, or even layout.
Because of my passion for computing, learned new technologies and to focus on web creation and design.

After completing my studies at university and Graduate School while doing work-study in a communication agency, now I have a master's degree in IT / marketing.

My background

The web, a passion ...
I have always been passionate about digital, so I learned design and development self-taught when I was in middle School.
It was at this time that I took photography classes every week for 2 years with a professional photographer. It was also at that moment that I realized that the Adobe Photoshop would be able to serve me, not only to retouch photos, but to create for the web. I learned to use Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or even After Effect.

After have the High-School Degree, I continued my studies in Associate’s Degree T-MIC (Technician of Interactive and Communicating Media). This formation (2 years) at the University of Brest allowed me to improve my design and development. The formation allowed me to acquire new skills too (project management, psychology, community management, ...).
Following this training, I decided to go to university in computer development for 1 year.

I did a year at the Web Digital School of Brest Master UI / UX DESIGN (Graphic Design). Followed by a year at the Open Campus (La Digital School) of Brest while working in an agency communication station located in Bretagne (France). Now, I have a master's degree in IT / Marketing.
The only way to do great work is to love what you do.

Source of inspiration, source of knowledge!
I went to Thailand where I lived among members of a local family with whom I learned the customs of the country.
During my childhood, I traveled by camper with my parents in all of France, from north to south and from west to east, rare are the regions where I am not go.

This trip, in France or abroad, helps to shape our personality and to change our vision of the world.

The ability to adapt, accept and learn from others is the most important thing in the world. Learning new cultures, including Asian culture, allowed me to discover new things and change my way of thinking.

Although my language level is not perfect, I'm getting better and better over time.

I like learning new languages. Now, I can speak French, English, Spanish, and I have notions in Portuguese and in Thai language.
